We meet at the house once. Keys, alarm, shutoffs, vendors, what “normal” looks like for your place.

Interior and exterior check on the schedule. Photos of the items that matter. Issues flagged the same day.
Report lands in your inbox. Open items stay open until they are closed. Storm watch is a separate, named add-on.

Service area
Primary routes: Kaneohe, Kailua, Maunawili, Waimanalo, Aikahi, Enchanted Lake. Hawaii Kai, Kahala, and Honolulu by arrangement. North Shore and west side quoted for travel time. We do not take a house we cannot reach on the schedule we sold you.
Hurricane season
We open storm mode on every active property. You get a prep list: lanai cleared, furniture in, shutoffs, generator, plywood status if you own panels.
Optional extra visit. Photos of the house as we left it. That file is what an insurer or family member wants later.
We return when roads are safe. Damage log with photos. We do not file your claim. We give you the record.
Who is walking the house
Windward Home Watch is built by a retired Oahu officer. Visits are done to a written standard, not a friendly look from the street. If another retired officer is added to the route, you will know the name before they get a key.
This is home watch — scheduled checks and documented conditions. It is not property management, not a licensed alarm company, and not a substitute for insurance.
Questions
No. Month to month after the first month. Give seven days to stop visits.
Interior checks need keys or a lockbox. Exterior-only is possible; it is a weaker product and we will say so.
You get a call or text the same day, then the written report. We can meet a plumber or electrician at your rate. We do not authorize major work without you unless you put that in writing in advance.
Yes. Name them. That is a common setup for off-island families and houses held in trust.
No. We do not collect rent, list the house, or run a vacation rental. We watch the asset and write down what we saw.
We carry liability for the service. You keep your homeowners and hurricane coverage. Reports are documentation, not a policy.
